The Topfer Family Foundation accepts applications year round and reviews them on a quarterly basis. Please see below for information about how to apply. Due to the volume of requests received each year, we cannot accept requests in the form of letters, proposals or presentations. Organizations that are not current TFF grantees are welcome to send basic information about their programs via email, but please note that we are not able to respond. If the program aligns with our funding priorities and immediate grantmaking goals, we will follow up with you. Before accessing the online application, we recommend you review and print this page and the Grant Guidelines page.
Note to Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; and Broward County, FL Applicants:
Current TFF grantees are eligible to apply for renewal funding. Prospective grantees must receive an invitation from TFF to apply for funding. Organizations are welcome to send basic information about their programs via email (info@topferfoundation.org), but please note that we are not able to respond. If the program aligns with our funding priorities and immediate grantmaking goals, we will follow up with you.

Review Process
Applications are accepted year round and scheduled for review based on the order in which they are received. If you are a current grantee, please check with your Program Officer to confirm the deadline date for your specific quarter. The Board of Directors reviews applications at its quarterly meetings, generally held in March, June, September and December. Organizations are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible in the quarter to allow for timely review prior to board meetings. Applicants can expect responses within two weeks of the Board meeting at which the grant is reviewed.
